My Diamante Poem

This week we did a poem called diamante. There are many rules of making one. The first one is antonyms(Opposites). The second one is that you need three ing words and 2 adjectives(Describing words). You also need one phrase or a short sentence. Once you have all of that you put the poem in a shape of a diamond like this.

War

Frantic, intense

Bleeding, threatening, shooting

Noisy and disruptive to calm and quiet

Loving, caring, sharing

Safe, gentle

Peace

2015 Swimming

So far swimming has been awesome. I've loved it so much that I would hate to forget my togs. I am in Mrs Love's group. Sometimes we swim around in a shape of a rectangle until we get tired. Man!!! It is hard work! Its still really fun. Also at the end some times Mrs Love says that we can have a free swim but normally by that time, I'm freezing.

My triathlon in the holidays

In the holidays I did a triathlon on the day before school. I was so excited I couldn't wait to do it.  I hopped in the pool and swam my 4 lengths then hopped out of the pool exhausted. I ran to the transition and got sorted. Then I jumped on my bike and went as fast as I could. My legs where quite tired but I kept going. After that I was onto my run. By that time I was super tired and I did not feel like running but I knew I would be proud of myself if I finished it so I jogged off went around the mark and come back very happy running through the finish line.
